WILD READING EXHIBITION

Picture books + Natural History Museum?
That sounds like the perfect combination.

And I could’t be more excited to participate in the exhibition "Wild Reading: Animals in Children's book art"  at Bruce Museum. An original art of Brownie Groundhog and the February Fox, along with the book, were in it!

This is an Art and Natural History museum in Greenwich (Connecticut-US) and the exhibition explored the depiction of animal life in children books. They featured over 30 illustrators works (such as Quentin Blake or Eric Carle !) next to taxidermy specimens from their collection.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go to Connecticut for the exhibition, but Mia Laufer from Bruce M. gently sent me these pictures. Thanks!
